It had been special ordered 1" under standard and then not purchased. I simply could not miss the sweet spot on the G I was swinging it mph faster, getting pretty similar launch numbers and just far more consistent with it. I went back and forth between them a few balls at a time and every time with the G15 I was just giving up too much. Bought the G25, a couple weeks later got rid of the G15 and couldn't be happier with it. By my at-home measurements the G25 has about I'm in the same boat as the OP, I currently play the G15 and have demo'd the G25 a number of times and have been considering upgrading.
I like the feel and sound of the G15 on impact more but the G25 def wins in the looks department. Numbers were similar but I think w some fine tuning I can improve w the G25 but I'm not selling the G15 just in case things don't workout. You can post now and register later. Ping Tour Pros use them. Second, You need to try a bunch. Swing Speed, Flex, Spin etc. Hate to be the 'broken record',but go to a good fitter, hit balls, results will become clear in no time.
Some really good content that could help you on your way. On a side note Stock, Diamana, Phenom 50, and the Blur on the pga superstore simulators. This is of course assuming the simulator inaccuracy didn't fluctuate greatly from day to day testing. I ended up liking two shafts at completely different ends of the weight spectrum RIP 50 grams and the Diamana 70 grams. When it came time to get a driver I was able to find a good deal on one, but it had the Blur x-stiff shaft.
Just going by the numbers the shaft listed I figured it would play similar to the ones I had been testing for the last month. I was wrong. Oh, how I was so wrong. Numbers lie sometimes At least in shafts they do. Luckily I found a Phenom stiff for sale and was able to replace the blur x-stiff with it and I can't be happier since shortening the shaft length. Read Tom Wishon's articles all three of them if you want to help yourself out in the long run and good luck.
Anser 9. Mullidan- Excellent advice and that what I was alluding to above you. Funny, I did the same thing. Know some guys in a golf store. They let me hit everything that would go in a G25 and an Anser Over and over.
One things for sure. Hitting the clubs on the range and course is a heck of a difference from a simulator. Interchange them too. People who viewed this item also viewed. Showing Slide 1 of 1. Picture Information. Mouse over to Zoom - Click to enlarge. Have one to sell? Sell now - Have one to sell?
