I may eventually upgrade to a PDA with wireless internet access the only additional feature I really wish I had , but for now I'm getting along fine with this more basic model.
Read full review. The Palm IIIxe isn't the newest device out there, but it is very sturdy and reliable. The operating system is also highly stable. It is easy to sync because the connections line up more easily than with the newer micro plugs that damage way too easily. There is tons of freeware all over the web for the IIIxe. The device itself has come down substantially in price so now it is a very powerful device for a very nice price.
No charging every night, no having to remember to bring a charger when you travel, no having to remember to put it in the cradle every day. The batteries last about 2 months even if you use it every day like I do. When they run low, the IIIxe tells you. Put in some new ones and you're good to go. I highly recommend the IIIxe to anyone that cares more about reliability, utility, durability and economy than flash.
